![]() At least, Aperture still finds a picture if you rename it in the finder. You can convert a folder structure into a project structure (good), but these two things are not linked, right (bad)? So if you rename a project folder in Aperture, the folder name on the volume stays untouched. And you can't manage the folder structure of your hard disc in aperture, because it only knows "projects". Aperture shows less information than Photoshop for example with its file information command, where you can see at least the expression media metadata. E.g.: There seems to be no chance to see the expression media CATALOG SETS oder the PEOPLE field. Did you try it out? I did today (there is a 30-day-trial version of Aperture available!) and was not impressed at all of the metadata feature and its DAM features. ![]() But I have keep trying it out with different scenarios.
